Citizens elect the city treasurer every four years, and the treasurer receives a part-time salary. The City Treasurer is responsible for the daily deposits of all monies for the City of Wagoner/Wagoner Public Works Authority. All deposits are checked for accuracy and deposits are prepared and deposited in the various banks. The Treasurer also maintains the Certificates of Deposit for the City of Wagoner/WPWA. Donna Jones started her career with the City of Wagoner in August of 2006 where she worked in the Utility Office and as Payroll Clerk. Jones left the City of Wagoner to begin her business, Jones House of Powder Coating, with her husband. She ran for and was elected to the position of City Treasurer in 2017. Jones is married to Sandy Jones and the couple have one son and one granddaughter.
